How to create and assign new phone extensions

You can create new phone extensions and assign them to your users via Studio, our online interface. To know how, please refer to the documentation 017 — Guide for creating or deleting an extension, section 2: Create an extension.

Note: Adding new phone extensions could result in additional monthly fees. For more information, please contact our technical support department at 1.877.315.1920.

What to do if my phone keeps rebooting

To enable your phone’s SIP parameters (pairing) from Studio, the Ubity interface, go to Management > Extensions and press on the two green arrows associated to your phone. Then you must restart your phone. If the phone still keeps rebooting, you must contact our technical support department at 1.877.315.1920.

How to forward calls

You can forward calls from one telephone station to another or to an external phone number via Studio, our online interface. To know how, you must refer to the documentation 021 — Guide for managing your extensions, section 2: Configure the extension, paragraph Call forwarding.

Note: Forwarding calls to an external number uses two lines instead of one. For more information, please contact our technical support department at 1.877.315.1920.

How to change the hold music

You can change your telephone station’s hold music via Studio, our online interface. To know how, you must refer to the documentation 021 — Guide for managing your extensions, section 2: Configure the extension, paragraph Default music on hold.

How to provision a telephone (e.g. Polycom, Linksys, etc.)

All the configuration guides for phones supported by Ubity are available in the Equipment section of the Ubity Support. If you cannot find the model you wish to provision in the list, please contact our technical support department by email at support@ubity.com .

How to add a softphone to my computer
