For your phone to work with the Ubity VoIP system, you must first configure it. To do so, please follow the instructions below.
For Polycom Sound Point
- Press the Menu button on the unit.
- Select option 3 Settings… then 1 Basic… and finally 5 Restart the phone…
- Once your phone has restarted, press Setup.
- Enter the password 456 and confirm with OK.
- Press the down arrow to select Server menu and confirm by pressing Select.
- The Server Type line is selected. Press Edit, then click the right arrow until HTTP(S) appears
(if HTTP(S) is not in the list, select HTTP). Press OK to confirm. - The Server Address line is selected. Press Edit, then enter the address p.ubity.com using your phone keypad. Press OK to confirm.
- Press Exit several times.
- Choose Save and Reboot.
- Your phone should restart, load its configuration and possibly a new version of the firmware. This may take up to ten minutes.
For Polycom VVX
- Press the Menu button..
- Go to the Settings menu (with a gear icon).
- Select option 2 Advanced…
- Enter password 456 and press Enter.
- Go to option 1 Administration settings… then 1 Network Configuration… and finally Provisionning Server…
- Go to Server Type (you might have to press Edit) and select HTTPS.
- Go to Server Address (you might have to press Edit) and enter the address p.ubity.com using your phone keypad. Then press OK.
- Return to the Settings menu. Select 1 Basic… then 11 Restart the phone and…
- Your phone should restart, load its configuration and possibly a new version of the firmware. This may take up to ten minutes.
